Ship it. We'll fix it.
Mail-in repair for phones, laptops, tablets, and game consoles from anywhere in Idaho. Text us your issue, get a real quote before you ship, and we'll have it back to you in 3‑5 days — repaired, tested, and ready to go.
A lot of Idaho is still hours from a repair counter
Once you're outside Boise, Nampa, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, and a few pockets like the Wood River Valley, getting a device fixed usually means a long drive, mailing it anyway, or putting it off until the problem gets worse.
We're based in Hailey, in the Wood River Valley. We're not a massive chain, and we're not shipping your device to a factory across the country. One bench, real updates by text, and a firm quote before any work begins. If you can get to a post office, you've got access to a repair shop.
How mail-in repair works
Four steps. No appointments. No driving to Boise. No shipping your life to a factory.
Text or email us
Describe what's going on with your device. Include the make, model, and what broke. We'll reply within 2 hours with a repair estimate — usually faster.
Pack & ship your device
We'll give you the shipping address. Grab a small box, wrap your device in bubble wrap or padding, and drop it at USPS, FedEx, or UPS. A small USPS Priority Mail box works great for phones.
We fix it (usually same day)
The moment your device arrives, we text you. Most repairs are done within 24 hours. If we find anything unexpected, we'll text you before doing extra work — no surprise charges.
We ship it back — free
Repaired, tested, and shipped back via USPS Priority Mail at no extra charge. You'll get a tracking number by text. Most Idaho addresses receive it in 1-2 business days.
What to text me so I can quote it fast
A good first message saves time. It lets me tell you whether the repair makes sense, what it'll probably cost, and whether mail-in is the right move.
Exact model
"iPhone 13" is good. "Samsung phone" is not. Include the exact model if you know it.
What actually broke
Cracked screen, bad battery, no charge, back glass, water exposure, HDMI issue — be specific.
Current symptoms
Does it still turn on? Does touch still work? Any lines, flicker, swelling, or heat?
Photo if you can
A quick photo of the damage helps a lot — especially for cracked screens, lifted batteries, and broken ports.
Best first text: "iPhone 13, front glass shattered but touch still works. Boise. Need it back this week." That's enough for me to tell you whether it makes sense to ship and what range you're probably in.

What happens after you ship
Here's exactly what to expect, from the moment you drop your box at the post office to the moment your fixed device is back in your hands.
You describe what's broken: make, model, what happened. We reply with a repair estimate and our shipping address. Usually within 45 minutes.
Drop your packed device at USPS, FedEx, or UPS. USPS Priority Mail from most Idaho cities reaches Hailey in 1 day. You're out $8–$16 for shipping.
Your package lands on our bench. We text you: "Got it." We open it, confirm the issue matches what you described, and give you a final quote before starting any work.
Most repairs are done same-day. We text you when repair starts and when it's finished. If we find something unexpected, we text before doing extra work — no surprise charges, ever.
We ship it back via USPS Priority Mail at no charge. Tracking number sent by text. Most Idaho addresses receive it in 1–2 business days. Done.
Hey — Sam here. I run this shop out of Hailey, Idaho.
I started offering mail-in repair because I kept hearing the same thing from people across the state: "There's nobody close enough to make this easy." McCall, Stanley, Salmon, Challis, Driggs — and a lot of smaller Idaho towns in between — people were driving hours, mailing devices out of state, or just living with broken tech longer than they should have.
That's ridiculous. Most repairs take me under an hour. The shipping takes longer than the fix. So I made it simple: text me, ship it, I'll fix it, I'll ship it back free. You get text updates the whole time so you're not wondering where your stuff is.
I'm one person, not a call center. If you text me, you're talking to the person who's actually going to open your device and fix it. That matters to me, and I think it'll matter to you too.
— Sam Torres

Mail-in FAQ
How does mail-in repair work? expand_more
Text or email us to describe your issue. We'll confirm the repair and give you a shipping address. Pack your device securely and ship it. We'll text you when it arrives, when the repair starts, and when we ship it back. Free return shipping included.
How long does the whole process take? expand_more
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of receiving your device. With shipping each way, total turnaround is typically 3-5 business days depending on your location in Idaho. Boise/Nampa customers often get devices back in 2-3 days.
Is return shipping really free? expand_more
Yes. Return shipping via USPS Priority Mail is always free. You only pay for shipping your device to us. We can also provide a prepaid shipping label for an additional $8 if you'd prefer not to arrange your own shipping.
How much does mail-in repair usually cost? expand_more
Most common mail-in jobs fall into these ranges: phones $79-$279+, tablets $89-$249+, laptops $99-$349+, and game consoles $59-$149+. Exact price depends on your model, the part needed, and whether the damage is limited to one component or not. See the pricing section above for realistic ranges.
What should I text you to get a fast quote? expand_more
Send the exact model, what broke, whether it still powers on, and a photo if you can. Example: "iPhone 13, front glass shattered but touch still works. Boise. Need it back this week." That's enough for me to tell you whether it makes sense to ship and what price range you're probably in.
What if you can't fix my device? expand_more
Every repair starts with a thorough diagnosis. We'll explain what we found and give you a clear quote before any work begins. If the repair isn't feasible, we'll let you know honestly — and ship your device back at no charge. No hard feelings.
How should I pack my device? expand_more
Use a sturdy box with plenty of padding — bubble wrap, packing paper, or even crumpled newspaper works. Remove any cases or accessories. For phones, a small USPS Priority Mail box ($8.15 at any post office) is perfect. Power off the device before shipping. See our full packing guide above.
Do you repair devices from outside Idaho? expand_more
Currently we focus on Idaho to keep turnaround times fast. If you're in a neighboring state (Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Nevada), text us and we can probably work something out. Shipping is just a day or two longer.
Is my data safe? Will you wipe my phone? expand_more
Never without asking you first. We don't wipe data as part of any standard repair. Screen replacements, battery swaps, charging port fixes — none of these require touching your data. If a repair does require a reset (rare), we'll contact you first and make sure you have a backup.
Can I use my own shipping label? expand_more
Absolutely. Ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS — whatever's easiest for you. USPS Priority Mail is the cheapest option for most devices and arrives in 1 day from anywhere in Idaho. We can also email you a prepaid label for $8 if you'd rather skip the post office counter.
Do you offer a warranty on mail-in repairs? expand_more
Yes. All repairs come with a warranty covering parts and labor. If the same issue comes back, get in touch and we'll make it right. See our full warranty details.
What about water-damaged devices? expand_more
We can assess water damage by mail, but results depend on how long it's been wet and whether the device was powered on after exposure. Text us your situation before shipping and we'll give you an honest assessment of whether it's worth sending. See our water damage first-aid guide.
I'm a college student. Any discounts? expand_more
Yes. We offer student and military discounts on most repairs. Mention it when you text us. See details on our student & military page.
What's the cheapest way to ship my device? expand_more
For phones and small tablets: USPS Small Flat Rate Box ($8.15) — fits most phones wrapped in bubble wrap, arrives next day in Idaho. For laptops and consoles: USPS Medium Flat Rate Box ($16.10). You can also use any sturdy box you already have and ship Priority Mail by weight — often similarly priced.
Can you fix a cracked back glass on iPhone? expand_more
Yes. Back glass repair is one of our most common mail-in jobs, especially for iPhone 11 and newer models. Pricing varies by model — text us your exact iPhone model and we'll give you a quote in minutes. See iPhone repair details.
What if my device gets damaged during shipping? expand_more
This is extremely rare when devices are packed properly, but it's why we include detailed packing instructions. Use enough padding, use a sturdy box, and you'll be fine. USPS Priority Mail includes $100 of insurance by default. For higher-value devices, you can add extra coverage at the counter.
Do I need to include my passcode? expand_more
We need to be able to test the device after repair, so yes — include your passcode on a note inside the box (not written on the outside). We only use it to verify the repair worked. Your data stays private.
How do I pay for the repair? expand_more
We'll send you a payment link by text once the repair is done and tested. You can pay by card or Apple Pay. Payment happens after the repair is complete, not before — so you know it's actually fixed before you pay.
Ready to get your device fixed?
Text us right now. Describe the problem. We'll have a quote and shipping instructions back to you within the hour.
